Quality Assurance Inspector
Location: Bloomington, IN
Shift: 1st shift
Pay: $20 - $25 Based on experience
Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to inspect in-process and finished products, ensure compliance with customer specifications, and maintain accurate quality records.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts
- Verify products meet blueprint and specification requirements
- Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and optical comparators
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records
- Communicate quality concerns to production and management teams
- Assist with investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues
- Prepare and verify parts for shipment
- Support continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous quality inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
