Description

Pay Range: $29.85hr - $34.85hr

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer develops and implements quality assurance processes to ensure product and process reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to identify quality issues.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve quality challenges.
  • Document quality assurance activities and maintain records.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Instructional Design and Technology, or a related field with at least 2+ years of related experience, or a High School Diploma / GED with at least 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in quality assurance or manufacturing engineering roles.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with 5S Methodology and Blueprint Reading.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as precision forging, investment casting, machining (milling, drilling, turning, EDM), coating, shot peening, inspection, and fixturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team under project deadline pressure.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with 3D Modeling.
  • Knowledge of 8D Problem Solving methodologies.
  • Experience with Built in Quality principles.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience with Management of Change processes.
  • NX experience.

Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift heavy objects.
