Summary: 

• Applies quality principles to production control, design evaluations, and engineering workflows to meet specifications and product requirements.

• Collaborates with Quality Program Managers, production teams, and stakeholders to improve quality workflows at Oldsmar site and partner locations.

• Leads root-cause investigations into product failures, analyzes defect trends, and implements corrective and preventive measures.

• Develops and refines inspection processes and contributes to building advanced testing mechanisms to streamline quality procedures.

• Supports quality for commodities including CCAs, cables, and box assemblies manufactured at Oldsmar.

• Drives process alignment across partner programs and hardware teams within nearby locations.

• Leverages Tableau dashboards and predictive analytics to monitor production metrics and identify trends.

• Initiates automation and AI solutions to reduce errors, improve inspection rates, and drive predictive quality outcomes.

• Applies familiarity with AS9100 standards or equivalent aerospace quality models.

• Applies knowledge of IPC and J-STD standards for component and system analysis.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Familiarity with AS9100 standards or equivalent aerospace quality models.

• Comfortable with hardware engineering requirements, integration, and system testing processes.

• Understanding of basic manufacturing requirements and quality engineering systems.

• Must be able to read and write English.

• Must be comfortable working on the production floor.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and at least 2+ years of related experience.

• Preferred: Tableau or other data visualization platforms for quality tracking.

• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma or equivalent problem-solving certifications.

• Preferred: Familiarity with IPC and J-STD standards for component and system analysis.
