Pay rate: $29.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish, supervise, and monitor quality assurance programs (HACCP, GMPs, BRC, EQMS standards, regulatory requirements)
- Provide quality and food safety support for both quality and production departments
- Assist management in maintaining quality systems
- Track corrective actions and monitor Product Safety Quality Events
- Prep and document audit materials and programs
- Perform positive release and manage external warehouse inventory
- Complete HACCP record reviews and SharePoint updates
- Assist with lab calibrations and support quality trainings
- Act as backup to Quality Supervisor to support lab technicians
- Track non-conforming/downgrade cheese and manage specification deviations
- Provide input on whey powder specifications and manage cheese customer samples
- Document Control Program management
- Coordinate lot track & trace exercises
- Assist with Environmental Monitoring Program & manage GMP audit program
- Complete other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or comparable field
- Associates degree or higher required (Preferably in Food Science, Dairy Science, or related field)
- Strong quality assurance and/or dairy science background
- Auditing skills and understanding of corrective/preventive actions
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective teaching, influencing, and troubleshooting skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisiveness, and high initiative
- Experience with document control program management
