Job Description
The Quality Coordinator is a senior individual contributor role responsible for fleet wide governance and quality assurance of Incident Management and Process/Product Nonconformance programs, while also owning site specific quality process execution and improvement activities at the Invenergy Central Machine Shop.
This role serves as the Quality system steward for incident investigations and nonconformance governance across the fleet, ensuring consistent application of risk based rigor, investigation quality, and corrective action effectiveness in accordance with Invenergy policy and procedures. In parallel, the role provides hands on quality process leadership at the Central Machine Shop, supporting manufacturing, repair, inspection, and continuous improvement activities.
The Quality Coordinator operates as a technical authority, governance facilitator, and cross functional partner, not as a people manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in quality, operations, engineering, incident management, manufacturing, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated experience with:
Incident or event investigation frameworks
Nonconformance / deviation management
Risk‑based governance models
Strong analytical, documentation, and facilitation skills.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred:
Experience with Intelex or similar ESHQ/ Quality Systems
Exposure to SIFp‑based incident classification.
Manufacturing, repair, or industrial shop experience.
Familiarity with causal analysis methods (e.g., Cause Mapping, 5‑Why).
System‑level thinker with strong governance discipline
Comfortable influencing across sites without direct authority
Detail‑oriented, audit‑ready, and process‑driven
Clear, confident communicator who can challenge constructively
Base Pay
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 10% - 25%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
