Description
Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Java and Selenium to build scalable, reusable, object-oriented test automation architectures.
- Experience with integrating automated test suites into continuous integration and delivery pipelines utilizing Jenkins.
- Experience in writing complex SQL queries to execute database validation and verify backend data integrity.
- Experience with automating web applications and executing REST API contract and endpoint validations.
- Experience with enterprise test management platforms including IBM Engineering Test Management (ETM) or IBM Quality Manager.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor automation engineers, conduct code reviews, and guide Agile DevOps ceremonies.
Responsibilities
- Architect, modernize, and maintain enterprise-wide automated testing frameworks to support large-scale public sector systems.
- Establish technical automation standards, framework design guidelines, and code review practices across the DevOps team.
- Design and execute comprehensive functional, system integration, REST API, and automated regression testing suites.
- Integrate automated testing triggers directly into continuous delivery pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
- Execute advanced SQL scripts to validate database states, assess data pipelines, and troubleshoot technical application errors.
- Provide technical coaching and conduct structured code reviews to elevate the skills of junior automation engineers.
- Collaborate with developers, systems architects, and business analysts during Agile sprint planning and backlog refinement.
