Senior Aviation Quality Auditor / C.A.S.E. Auditor
If you are a current C.A.S.E. qualified auditor who knows how to walk into an aviation supplier, MRO, or repair station and confidently assess quality, compliance, and corrective action, this role was built for you.
We are seeking a senior aviation Quality Assurance Auditor to support a highly regulated maintenance and engineering environment. The immediate priority is supporting C.A.S.E. audits, with additional responsibility for supplier, repair station, and component repair vendor reviews.
This is a contract role with flexibility for candidates located near a major U.S. airport.
What You’ll Do
- Perform C.A.S.E. audits and other aviation Quality Assurance reviews
- Audit suppliers, MROs, repair stations, and component repair vendors
- Execute audits using established checklists, procedures, and workpapers
- Document findings and communicate results clearly
- Perform root cause analysis and support corrective action development
- Follow up on corrective actions and validate effectiveness
- Maintain audit records and findings in the QA database
- Support broader compliance and Quality Management System initiatives
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Travel domestically for approximately 2 to 3 audits per month
Must Haves
- Strong aviation Quality Assurance or compliance audit experience
- Experience with MROs, repair stations, aviation suppliers, or component repair vendors
- Ability to independently manage the full audit lifecycle
- Experience documenting findings and validating corrective actions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel approximately 2 to 3 times per month
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Highly Preferred
- FAA A&P, Powerplant, or Repairman certification
- FAA compliance or Quality Management System experience
- Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
- CQA, CIA, CPA, ISO Quality Auditor, or similar certification
- Experience supporting IOSA, DOD, or other aviation regulatory reviews
Location & Travel
Seattle area candidates are ideal, but candidates located elsewhere in the U.S. will be considered if they are near a major airport.
Expect approximately 2 to 3 domestic audit trips per month, typically lasting 2 to 3 days, with remote audit follow up between trips.
Pay Range: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
