ABOUT THE ROLEA financial services organization is seeking a quality-focused operations professional to perform detailed reviews, assess operational controls, identify process and risk gaps, and help strengthen accuracy and consistency across business processes. This position works closely with leadership and operational teams to analyze quality trends, investigate exceptions, and implement practical improvements.
The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail with experience in financial services operations, quality assurance, controls, audit, risk, or process improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform detailed quality reviews of operational processes and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures.
- Conduct transaction reviews, audits, and quality assessments to evaluate operational controls and risk management practices.
- Monitor workflows and performance results to identify recurring errors, control weaknesses, procedural gaps, and emerging risks.
- Investigate discrepancies and processing issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop and analyze quality metrics, audit findings, error trends, and operational performance reporting.
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and relevant business partners.
- Partner with operational teams to improve controls, workflow efficiency, procedural consistency, and overall quality.
- Support training initiatives focused on quality standards, procedural accuracy, compliance awareness, and operational excellence.
- Maintain training materials, procedures, reference documentation, and other resources as processes and requirements evolve.
- Provide constructive coaching and feedback to reinforce accountability and quality expectations.
- Respond to internal and external operational inquiries while ensuring responses remain consistent with established procedures and controls.
- Support adherence to service-level expectations, quality benchmarks, and operational risk requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume operational environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, audit methodology, operational controls, and process improvement principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including investigation and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to identify risks, evaluate procedural weaknesses, and recommend practical solutions.
- Experience monitoring performance metrics and preparing operational or quality reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and following established procedures.
- Proficiency with operational/client management systems, reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for departmental goals and control requirements.
