    SUMMARY

    As an Analyst, Quality Assurance, you will bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support the testing of core API backend team. Your understanding of vendor integrations, APIs, and quality testing will be critical to success in this role.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Own the functional testing strategy of the application: analyze and estimate stories, write and execute test plans, evaluate and execute regression tests, and support production releases

    Work closely with product, design, and development teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements

    Own the sprint-level work assignments of the team to ensure coverage across new features

    Identify, prioritize and automate appropriate test cases

    Participate in the functional, integration and regression testing of the application, testing both manually and through automated test execution and analysis

    Partner with development teams to discover, analyze, write, retest and close defects as they arise

    Work with QAs from different teams to provide end to end testing coverage

    Participate in all agile ceremonies as a member of the scrum team


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Basic Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience

    3+ years of experience?Demonstrated knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns and test automation

    Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration

    Experience using software feature tracking and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence

    Demonstrated experience in the Agile/Scrum software development life cycle

    Capacity to learn quickly and share knowledge

    Flexible and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short sprint cycles

    Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision


    Preferred

    Excellent programming, debugging and optimization skills in one or more general programming languages including Python, java, Javascript

    Experience in designing and extending existing test frameworks for services

    Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker and BitBucket

    Hands on experience testing API and Backend services

    Experience testing application deployed in AWS, troubleshooting logs in Cloudwatch

    Trading or FINTECH domain knowledge
