Bilingual Spanish Testing Requirement
This assignment has a substantial Spanish-language testing component.
Candidates should demonstrate professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to:
- Read and comprehend complex Spanish-language application content.
- Validate Spanish translations against approved English-language requirements and source content.
- Test Spanish-language screens, fields, labels, instructions, error messages, alerts, and other user-facing functionality.
- Validate Spanish correspondence, notices, forms, and other resident communications.
- Identify incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, or contextually inappropriate Spanish-language content.
- Validate that Spanish and English application experiences provide consistent business functionality and outcomes.
- Develop and execute test cases specifically covering Spanish-language functionality.
- Document Spanish-language defects clearly for business and technical teams.
- Communicate identified discrepancies to English-speaking project stakeholders.
- Perform regression testing of Spanish-language functionality following application changes.
Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate the level of Spanish-language proficiency necessary to perform these job-related testing responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of Quality Assurance experience testing large enterprise applications
- Strong hands-on manual testing experience
- Experience with test automation and automated testing frameworks
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish sufficient to perform Spanish-language application and content validation
- Experience working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, testing processes, and best practices
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios and test cases
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when comparing English and Spanish application content

Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across multiple enterprise applications.
- Perform dedicated testing and validation of Spanish-language application functionality and resident-facing content.
- Compare Spanish-language functionality and content against approved English requirements and expected business outcomes.
- Validate Spanish screens, correspondence, notices, messages, forms, labels, instructions, and application workflows.
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop test scenarios specifically addressing Spanish-language functionality and content.
- Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, technical documentation, and design documents to identify testing needs.
- Participate in requirements walkthroughs, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and design review sessions.
- Estimate testing effort and provide input into overall project planning and release schedules.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, API, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using approved automation frameworks.
- Validate interfaces and integrations between enterprise applications and external systems.
- Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
- Execute API and web service testing using industry-standard tools.
- Document test execution results and communicate testing progress to project leadership.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and manage software defects through resolution.
- Clearly document defects involving Spanish-language content or functionality so they can be understood and resolved by business and technical teams.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and validate software fixes.
- Ensure complete traceability between business requirements, test cases, and executed tests through the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, project managers, vendors, and State business stakeholders.
- Support production implementations by performing release validation and post-production verification.
- Assist in continuously improving QA standards, automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality best practices.
