    Description

We're not in the shipping business; we're in the information business" -Peter Rose, Expeditors Founder

    • Fortune 500
    • Globally unified systems

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will transition our customers'' global logistics network from a reactive, compliance-heavy approach into a proactive leader in quality maturity. By bridging real-time non-conformances with continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, you will transform quality into a collaborative driver for sustainable, network-wide performance improvement. This role creates the operational bandwidth required to elevate site-level execution, ensuring standard compliance while turning QMS data into a proactive tool. You will equip operational teams with data-driven insights, structured root cause problem-solving, and targeted standards enablement to overcome symptom-level firefighting and isolated compliance tracking.

    Top Daily Responsibilities:

    • Review incoming quality requests, enforce standards validity, and oversee site-level Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) plans.

    • Analyze historical performance data and audit results to identify emerging failure patterns and develop actionable mitigation plans.

    • Partner directly with operations teams to perform root cause analysis, conduct training, and draft quality control documentation.

    • Bridge site-level non-conformance tracking directly with network-wide continuous improvement initiatives and PFMEA risk updates.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Operations & Quality Governance

    • Oversee defect triage and standardize protocol execution to shift the network away from symptom-level firefighting.

    • Review site-level RCCA corrective action plans and coach operations teams to prevent defect recurrence.

    • Ensure audit findings and RCCAs are utilized as critical data points for systemic trend analysis rather than treated as transactional checklists.

    Issue Management, Reporting & Escalation

    • Analyze historical performance data and audit results to identify emerging failure patterns.

    • Provide leadership with early visibility and actionable mitigation plans for proactive defect and risk reduction.

    • Track and manage real-time non-conformances, ensuring they are properly documented, escalated, and resolved systemically.

    Continuous Improvement & Projects

    • Bridge site-level non-conformance tracking directly with network-wide continuous improvement initiatives and PFMEA risk updates.

    • Design, launch, and govern high-impact improvements to resolve root causes across the process rather than isolating symptoms at the local level.

    • Utilize formal root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA) to drive sustainable process optimizations.

    Stakeholder Management & Communication

    • Partner directly with cross-functional operations teams to conduct targeted training on quality standards.

    • Assist site teams in drafting clear, actionable quality control documentation.

    • Provide the structured training, protocols, and analytical guidance required to enable site teams to execute quality standards independently and collaboratively.

    Experience and Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or professional certification in Project/Program Management, Quality Systems, ISO9001 certified auditor, or related fields.

    • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, quality control, or operational process engineering.

    • Proficiency with ISO 9001 standards, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis/data interpretation tools.

    • Hands-on experience with quality management software and formal root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to train, facilitate, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
