Candidate Location: Candidate must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting at their own expense.
Required Skills- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios, including building test cases/scenarios into test systems.
- 3+ years of experience with Sahi Pro and/or Selenium Automation Framework.
- Experience designing and developing Test Automation Scripts using established Test Automation Guidelines.
- Working knowledge of at least ONE of the following:
- SPICE
- TPI
- TMMI
- CMMI OPF
- OPD
- PPQA
- Direct hands-on experience with formal test-design techniques including:
- Equivalence Class Partitioning
- Pairwise Analysis
- Experience with PICT or equivalent orthogonal-based test-design tools.
Preferred Skills- 5+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
- 3+ years of Medicaid or healthcare experience.
- Strong understanding of healthcare/Medicaid operations and business processes.
- Experience with X.12 Standards and HIPPA EDI Transactions.
- Proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite – JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working in a standard SDLC/Waterfall methodology.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
Required Education- Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business, or Healthcare field
OR- 5+ years of equivalent Quality Assurance experience .
Responsibilities- Develop test plans, QA processes, UAT processes, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Design and support user-interface and regression testing.
- Test software applications for reliability and stability.
- Perform:
- Smoke Testing
- System Integration Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- Regression Testing
- Negative Testing
- Usability Testing
- Design and develop automated test scripts.
- Identify defects, testing gaps, risks, and areas for optimization.
- Maintain and track defects and functional improvements.
- Work with product development teams and software engineers to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure projects comply with established software-testing governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Perform reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections.
- Review and provide oversight of vendor Unit Testing and System Integration Testing plans/results.
- Prepare and review:

- Test Reports
- Track testing progress against established targets and report exceptions or impediments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, technicians, business stakeholders, and management throughout testing activities.

- Strong proficiency in English.
- Ability to document test scenarios, test cases, and testing results.
- Ability to communicate and publish status reports covering open issues and testing gaps.
