Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services (QMHP-CS)New Horizon Community Care (NHCC)$25–$27/hr • Full Benefits • Dallas/Fort WorthNew Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is seeking compassionate and motivated Qualified Mental Health Professionals – Community Services (QMHP-CS) to join our growing behavioral health team in Texas.This is an opportunity to use your education, experience, and passion for behavioral health to provide meaningful community-based services to individuals and families.About the PositionAs a QMHP-CS, you will work directly with individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges and their families. You will provide guidance, mentorship, behavioral health interventions, skill development, and community-based support designed to promote personal growth, resilience, and greater independence.You will collaborate with clinicians, families, treatment teams, and community partners to help clients work toward their behavioral health and treatment goals.What You'll DoProvide individualized behavioral health support and interventions.Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' behavioral health needs.Help clients develop positive coping strategies and manage emotions and stressors.Provide evidence-based interventions addressing behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs.Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational activities.Teach and reinforce social, emotional, relationship, and independent living skills.Build therapeutic relationships with clients and families.Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services.Collaborate with clinicians, families, treatment teams, and community partners.Advocate for clients and assist with accessing appropriate community resources.Recognize and respond appropriately to behavioral health crises.Develop safety plans and provide follow-up support when appropriate.Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.Participate in CFT, ART, clinical supervision, and staff meetings as scheduled.Safely transport clients in company vehicles as required.We're Looking for Someone WhoIs compassionate, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in community settings.
