Job Title Qualified Assistant, Basic Law Enforcement Training/ General Instructor Full Time/Part Time Part-time Job Description
The Assistant Coordinator, Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) / General Instructor will support and assist the Coordinator of the Basic Law Enforcement Training (Pre-Service) program for public safety professionals and the Program Director for General Instructor training (In-Service). The Assistant Coordinator shall assist in the planning, developing, coordinating, and delivering of Commission-mandated courses within the Basic Law Enforcement Training, and General Instructor program parameters. The Assistant Coordinator, BLET reports to the Coordinator, Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) and the Program Director, Law Enforcement In-Service & Pre-Service Training, with oversight from the Dean of Human Services, Public Safety, Health and Physical Education.

The Assistant Coordinator, Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) shall possess an understanding of and commitment to the nature and role of the Community College, particularly its "open door" policy. Other:
Criminal history checks and drug screening with acceptable results are required.
Must work at some off campus and community locations.
Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
