Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Qlik Sense Developer & Administrator position. This position is a contract hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Tallahassee, FL for a minimum duration of seven months with a possibility of extension.
Summary
This role is needed to support our client's data modernization initiatives by providing Qlik Sense development and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design services.
Job Description:
Review existing reports, current dashboards, document the intended personas and uses case, identify data sources, and key objectives each dashboard or process must answer.
Design wireframes and/or interactive prototypes for new dashboards and reporting workflows, incorporating usability best practices and branding/accessibility standards, and revise designs based on stakeholder feedback.
Build new reporting processes, data models, and Qlik dashboards from scratch where no prior tool may exist, including data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, aggregation, and visualization.
Rebuild the equivalent report or dashboard in Qlik for existing reports, validate that Qlik outputs reconcile with data sources, and document and resolve any discrepancies.
Hold demo sessions and check-ins with the designated team member(s) and incorporate feedback into subsequent iterations.
Train designated team member(s) on dashboard operation, maintenance, and code upkeep for each completed deliverable.
Prepare project documentation, data dictionaries, and user manuals for each dashboard or process delivered.
Work with cross-functional teams to assist in the design and building of reporting dashboards.
Support the migration of existing reports and dashboards from the legacy analytics platform(s) to Qlik.
Qualified candidates would have the following:
Candidates Must Have:
At least two years of experience developing, deploying, and administering Qlik applications, including data modeling, scripting (data load editor), set analysis, and dashboard/visualization design.
At least two years of experience developing, deploying, and administering Qlik applications, including data modeling, scripting (data load editor), set analysis, and dashboard/visualization design.
Demonstrated UI/UX design experience, including designing intuitive, accessible user interfaces and workflows for data dashboards and reporting tools, and translating end-user/stakeholder feedback into design improvements.
At least one year of experience using Figma (or a comparable design tool) to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications for stakeholder review.
At least one year of experience building a reporting process, dashboard, or data product from scratch - including requirements gathering, information architecture, prototyping, and iterative design with program stakeholders - rather than solely maintaining or extending existing tools.
At least one year of experience working with sensitive or confidential data, including adherence to data security and privacy best practices.
Experience supporting state or local government health, human services, or public health programs is preferred.
Experience migrating dashboards or reports from a legacy business intelligence platform to Qlik platforms is preferred.
