Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QE SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a strong Quality Engineering background to join our Agile delivery team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional testing, test automation, and Retail/Merchandising applications, with the ability to automate testing across Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for enterprise applications.

• Perform test automation activities within Agile sprints.

• Validate applications across Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop platforms.

• Create and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.

• Develop comprehensive test scenarios, acceptance tests, and test documentation.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated build validation.

• Prepare and share testing status reports, defect metrics, and test closure reports.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and resolve production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Functional Testing, and Test Automation.

• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Hands-on experience in Retail/Merchandising testing (Mandatory).

• Experience automating tests across Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop applications.

• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

  • Selenium

  • Robot Framework

  • UFT

  • Java

  • Python

  • API Automation

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.

• Experience creating and managing bug reports.

• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise Retail applications.

• Knowledge of automated deployment validation.

• Experience preparing weekly, monthly, and test closure reports.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience supporting production deployments and release testing.
