QE – Functional Tester

Role Summary:
Validate business requirements and ensure end-to-end functional quality of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use AI-driven tools (e.g., Lifter) to generate test scenarios, test cases, and exploratory test ideas from requirements
• Validate business workflows using AI-augmented test design instead of purely manual test case creation
• Perform intelligent functional testing across UI, API, and data layers
• Leverage AI insights to identify risk areas, edge cases, and missing scenarios
• Execute and validate tests with focus on business outcomes and user journeys
• Collaborate with QE Automation teams to convert high-value scenarios into automation candidates
• Support UAT with AI-assisted validation and faster feedback cycles
• Continuously refine test scenarios using defect patterns, production issues, and AI recommendations

Required Skills:

• Experience in functional testing within US banking domain
• Familiarity with SaaS products especially Workday
• Familiarity with AI-powered QE tools for test script generation/analysis)
• Strong understanding of banking workflows (accounts, payments, lending, digital banking)
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Zephyr)
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
