Position Title: QE-Automation Engineer
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
Job Description:
This role requires a highly skilled Software Developer with expertise in testing tools, automation, and performance. The candidate should have a strong background in quality engineering, particularly in the Retail domain, and be able to work across various platforms and tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
 
Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Agile Functional testing, Test Automation, and Development with a Quality Engineering background.
• Experience in Retail/Merchandising testing is a must.
• Proficient in performing Test Automation during the sprint and working on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop.
• Experience with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, UFT, Java, API, and Python.
• Mandatory experience in Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in the Retail domain.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

• Retail Domain experience is advantageous.
• Ability to create and manage bug reports and communicate effectively with the team.
• Capable of building different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Understanding of DevOps and CICD auto build processes.
• Experience working closely with deployment teams and resolving any system-level issues.
• Proficient in sending various status reports, including Test Closure, Weekly, and Monthly reports.

• Coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and work independently.
