Quality Control Specialist – Customer & Documentation Focus (FDA / Food Industry)


Onsite | Full-Time


We are partnering with a growing company in the food industry seeking a Quality Control Specialist to support customer-facing quality processes and end-product compliance. This role focuses on ensuring accurate documentation, meeting customer requirements, and maintaining regulatory standards across finished goods.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review, create, and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA) and other quality documentation in SAP to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and submit required certificates (Phytosanitary, Free Sale, and others) based on customer and regulatory requirements
  • Handle customer requests for quality documentation, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Oversee quality programs including sanitation, allergen control, pest control, Kosher certification, and expiration reporting
  • Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Production teams to support customer orders and documentation needs
  • Maintain detailed records, perform data analysis, and provide reports to leadership
  • Review microbiology test results, support SOP compliance, and assist with validations and investigations
  • Support operational quality processes, including backup for raw material or component release as needed


Qualifications:


  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • 2+ years of quality control or food safety experience in FDA-regulated environments (food or pharma preferred)
  • Experience supporting customer-facing quality documentation and compliance processes
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel (ERP training provided)
  • Strong organization, documentation, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities


Compensation & Benefits:


  • Salary: $45,000 – $55,000+ (flexible based on experience)
  • 75% employer-paid health coverage (medical, dental, vision)
  • 401(k) with 3% company contribution
