QC Manager - Structural Steel (CWI)

A structural steel fabricator in the Dayton, OH area needs a Quality Control Manager to lead its inspection program and keep every job in line with code, certification, and project requirements.

Main duties:

• Maintain compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, AISC certification, and project specs
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, steel erectors, project managers, and production
• Perform and oversee weld inspection and NDT
• Manage inspection plans, documentation, and NCR/corrective action

Requirements:

• 8+ years of steel fabrication QC experience
• UT Level II preferred
• CWI certification
