    As a QC Lab Technician in Rochester, NY, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, safety, and consistency through analytical testing and laboratory support activities. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a quality control laboratory within a manufacturing environment.

    Working alongside Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams, you will develop your technical laboratory skills, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and make a direct impact on the quality of products delivered to our customers.


    Important: This position operates on a rotating shift schedule consisting of 2 day shifts, followed by 2 night shifts, and then 4 consecutive days off. Candidates must be comfortable working both day and night shifts on a rotating basis.



    Essential Job Functions:

    • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results in compliance with internal and regulatory standards
    • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring calibration and proper functioning
    • Support quality control processes by identifying deviations and collaborating on root cause investigations
    • Follow all safety, health, and environmental procedures, fostering a culture of safe laboratory practices
    • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
    • Prepare reagents, standards, and samples in accordance with established methods
    • Contribute to maintaining laboratory organization, cleanliness, and compliance with audit requirements


    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
    • Previous laboratory experience through internships, academic research, co-ops, or industry experience is highly valued
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and reliable data
    • Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively
    • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
    • Basic computer skills and experience with laboratory data systems or documentation tools

    Benefits & Conditions:
    The expected salary range for this role is $22.00-$26.00 per hour, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
