QC Lab Technician

Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Location: Riverside, California
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $22 per hour
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 3 AM- 11:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Follow all safety and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies
• Report quality control results promptly and communicate findings to plant management
• Enter QC data and maintain quality records
• Collect and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for incoming raw materials
• Monitor and track laboratory equipment calibration
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals
• Assist with sample shipments
• Participate as an active member of the production team representing Quality Control
• Support special projects related to safety, efficiency, and corporate initiatives
• Learn and understand plant processes and controls impacting product quality
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards and organization
• Ensure laboratories are stocked with testing materials and equipment
• Identify and report unsafe conditions within the plant
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager and QC Management

Requirements

• Associate degree OR high school diploma with 1-3 years of quality control testing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong math and computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiarity with SAP preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
