Job Title: QC Lab Analyst
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $27.00 per hour (1-year contract)
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts on a 2-3-2 schedule (2 days on days, 3 days on nights, then back to 2 days on days), alternating 36-hour and 48-hour work weeks. 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am.
-Responsibilities
Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and wastewater samples
Perform routine quality control testing using established methods
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
Approve or reject materials based on quality specifications
Enter test results and data into plant systems
Assist with troubleshooting quality issues involving materials and finished products
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards
Complete additional duties as assigned

Science-related education or background
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated with effective time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on a rotating shift schedule

Laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or quality control experience
Experience using laboratory instrumentation and performing equipment calibrations
