    Description

We're looking for an experienced QC Inspector to join our 1st shift team. If you have a strong eye for detail and experience working in a manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit. You'll inspect parts throughout the production process, use precision measuring tools, perform weld inspections, and help ensure products meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

    What You'll Do

    • Operate and calibrate NDT equipment for in-process inspections.
    • Inspect welds under a microscope and perform visual inspections before and after E-coat.
    • Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
    • Identify quality concerns and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
    • Work with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
    • Complete inspection paperwork accurately and on time.
    • Assist with other quality-related tasks as needed.

    What We're Looking For

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
    • 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
    • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
    • Basic math skills, including algebra and geometry, to understand measurements and tolerances.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
    • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift up to 30 pounds.
    • Stand and walk throughout the shift.
    • Bend, reach, and crouch while inspecting parts.
    • Work in a manufacturing environment with changing temperatures and noise.
    • Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, sleeves, and long pants.
