Quality Documentation Specialist
Pay Rate:$23–$29/hour; Based on experience
Location: Johnstown, NY / onsite
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required
Experience: Must have 2–4 years of quality control, document administration, or regulatory compliance experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills: Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Microsoft Office required
Our growing client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Documentation Specialist to support its quality team by managing critical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards. Responsibilities of the Quality Documentation Specialist will include:
- Perform data entry for quality inspections and maintain accurate quality records
- Administer the document control system, ensuring documents are properly versioned, formatted, and archived
- Review and verify quality control data, test results, and batch records for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure documentation complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality standards
- Support internal and external audits by organizing records, verifying documentation, and preparing requested files
- Maintain employee training records and ensure documentation reflects current revisions and approvals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support documentation and compliance activities
Qualifications for the role of Quality Documentation Specialist:
Required:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2–4 years of experience in quality control, document administration, or regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy when reviewing documentation
