QC Chemist to support laboratory testing, product quality, and compliance initiatives.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $30/hr DOE
Position Overview: The QC Chemist will perform analytical and quality control testing on raw materials and finished products in a regulated laboratory environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
Responsibilities of the QC Chemist:- Perform QC testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Utilize analytical instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, dissolution, and particle size analyzers.
- Accurately document, review, and report analytical results.
- Maintain cGMP-compliant laboratory records and documentation.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Support investigations and ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with QA, R&D, and Production teams to support product quality and release activities.
Required Experience/Skills for the QC Chemist:- 3-7 years of analytical laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, and dissolution testing.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong documentation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the QC Chemist:- Experience within pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer products, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
