The Fountain Group is currently seeking a  QC Associate II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Fremont, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Title: QC Associate II– Physical & Chemical Testing
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Rate: $33.26/hour W2
Duration: 6-Month Contract

Job Description

Seeking a QC Analyst to perform routine and non-routine physical and chemical testing of bulk drug substances, finished products, and raw materials in a multi-product laboratory. Responsibilities include executing analytical testing, supporting laboratory operations, maintaining laboratory inventory, documenting results in compliance with cGMP/cGDP requirements, and ensuring laboratory readiness and quality compliance.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of industry experience
  • Quality Control (QC) laboratory testing
  • UV-Vis absorbance
  • qPCR
  • FTIR spectroscopy
  • Compendial testing
  • Analysis of bulk drug substances, finished products, and raw materials
  • Laboratory documentation in a cGMP/cGDP environment
  • Laboratory inventory management
  • Reagent handling and disposal

Preferred Skills

  • GMP-regulated laboratory experience
  • Experience testing biologics or pharmaceutical products
  • Experience supporting multi-product QC laboratories
  • Knowledge of 5S laboratory organization and compliance
