About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/Triage Analyst to support an Autonomous Vehicle (AV) program focused on analyzing and triaging vehicle-generated events. In this role, you will review vehicle telemetry, logs, videos, and system data to identify root causes, classify incidents, and provide engineering-ready documentation that supports product quality and continuous improvement.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in Autonomous Driving (AV), ADAS, Robotics, Vehicle Validation, Software QA, or Technical Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review autonomous vehicle event data, including telemetry, logs, videos, screenshots, and sensor outputs.
  • Investigate vehicle incidents to determine the underlying root cause.
  • Classify events according to defined operational procedures and engineering guidelines.
  • Differentiate between software defects, vehicle behavior, driver interventions, environmental factors, and known system limitations.
  • Correlate incidents with existing engineering defects or identify potential new issues.
  • Document investigation findings with clear supporting evidence for engineering teams.
  • Escalate ambiguous or complex events to senior analysts or engineering teams.
  • Participate in QA calibration sessions to continuously improve classification accuracy.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Fleet Operations, and Program Management teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Software QA, Vehicle Validation, ADAS, Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, or Technical Operations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to investigate complex technical issues using multiple data sources.
  • Experience reviewing logs, system data, or telemetry.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Autonomous Vehicle or ADAS programs.
  • Knowledge of autonomous driving concepts, vehicle systems, and sensor technologies.
  • Familiarity with LiDAR, Radar, Cameras, GPS, and vehicle telemetry.
  • Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Experience using log analysis or visualization tools.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Exposure to Linux environments and command-line tools.
