    Position Summary: The QA/Training Specialist will be responsible for organizing and delivering trainings for employees. This position will work closely with QA data and leaders to identify opportunities for improvement, develop training materials, track employee productivity and assist with QA audits as requested. The position will serve as a mentor to new hires and will have a special focus on new hire success and support.

    Critical Tasks:

    • Facilitates training to existing employees as needed or requested.
    • Submits monthly training schedule to leaders.
    • Works closely other training coordinators to help maintain a consistent and professional trainee program.
    • Monitors the quality and quantity of training offered.
    • Maintains training attendance records.
    • Prepares documentation, tip sheets, and change training materials.
    • Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of training and provides monthly reports to management
    • Provides performance feed back to participants and management.
    • Monitors and evaluates the use of applications; collects user feedback and recommends enhancements or modifications to applications.
    • Assistswith certification testing, documentation and continuing education requirements.
    • Assists in software decisions, processes, implementations, testing and maintenance.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Two years Patient Registration/Revenue Cycle experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures.
    • Interestinmedicalsubjects, patient services/care, and customer service.
