    SciTec is seeking a Quality Assurance / Test Lead for large software system providing value for an emergent missile defense need.   

    Responsibilities

    • Support planning and execution of system integration and verification activities 
    • Develop and refine test strategies, plans, and methodologies aligned with program objectives 
    • Execute and support system-level test events, including integration, functional, and performance testing 
    • Identify verification gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and drive resolution 
    • Analyze system performance against requirements and document test results 
    • Collaborate with software, systems, infrastructure, and program teams to ensure integrated system readiness 
    • Support coordination with government and contractor stakeholders to align integration and test activities 
    • Provide recommendations to improve verification rigor, efficiency, and consistency 
    • Support preparation for internal and external reviews, assessments, and demonstrations 
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and test processes across programs 
    • Derive metrics and acceptance criteria for system-level and acceptance-level testing from program requirements 
    • Perform other duties as assigned 

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field or equivalent experience 
    • 10+ years of experience supporting system integration, test, or verification activities in a defense or complex systems environment 
    • Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V) 
    • Experience with the four layers of testing in the software development life cycle (SDLC) 
    • Experience developing or executing test plans and test procedures 
    • Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements, derived test criteria, and document results 
    • Strong understanding of integration environments and test workflows 
    • Experience collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders 
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
    • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

    Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred: 

    • A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher 
    • Experience contributing to verification strategy development 
    • Experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or similar mission systems 
    • Experience working across multiple programs or system components 
    • Experience supporting customer-facing test events or demonstrations 
    • Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments

    The pay range for this position is $152,000 to 191,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
