    Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our Winchester, VA pasta production facility, where we produce Ronzoni pasta.

    Responsibilities:

    • Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specification compliance

    • Audit production and packaging for accuracy in shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling and coding

    • Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions

    • Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples

    • Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

    • Bachelor's degree in food related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)

    • Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Experience in QA testing
