    QA SUPERVISOR - 1ST SHIFT


    Waupaca, WI (Fox Valley, west of Appleton) | Full-time, direct hire


    Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm

    Starting Pay: $30 - $35/hr+ (depending on experience and skills)


    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    A family-owned component machining and fabrication shop in Waupaca, part of a larger Wisconsin plastics and metals contract manufacturing group, is hiring a QA Supervisor. You will run the day-to-day quality department, lead and train the QA team, and partner with production leads and customers to solve quality issues. Reports to the QA Manager.


    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    - Supervise, train and develop the QA department team, including reviews and discipline

    - Schedule and teach quality courses, including blueprint reading

    - Give technical support to manufacturing to solve quality issues

    - Resolve quality issues with customers, issue RMAs and follow up on corrective actions

    - Build and support continuous improvement processes in the QA department

    - Maintain quality control standards and procedures and coach operators as needed

    - Support project teams and enforce company policies and procedures


    WHAT YOU NEED

    - 2+ years of supervisory experience in quality as a Technician, Inspector or Quality Lead

    - ISO 9001 or equivalent experience (required)

    - Quality ERP experience (required)

    - Mechanical inspection, blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing

    - CMM, electronic gauging, comparator, gauge and calibration experience

    - Receiving inspection and military standards knowledge

    - AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

    - Machining experience a plus

    - Strong communication, attention to detail and problem solving
