throughout the project lifecycleQuality Oversight & GovernanceLead project quality reviews and readiness assessmentsConduct quality audits and field inspectionsMonitor project compliance with quality performance and emerging project risksField Quality & Installation VerificationVerify installation quality for controls, low-voltage systems, networking infrastructure, control panels, and related equipmentEnsure inspections are completed accurately and documented properlyValidate installation workmanship, device configuration, cable management, labeling, testing, and documentation complianceSupport project teams in achieving successful quality outcomes throughout executionCommissioning & Readiness LeadershipEstablish and enforce commissioning readiness requirementsVerify systems are prepared for startup, testing, and turnover activitiesReview point-to-point testing, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and commissioning documentationValidate system performance before turnover to customersServe as the gatekeeper for project quality readiness milestonesDeficiency & Corrective Action ManagementLead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processManage defect identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activitiesTrack quality trends and recurring issuesDrive initiatives that reduce rework and improve project performanceEnsure corrective actions are implemented and sustainedDocumentation & Turnover ManagementOversee quality documentation requirements from project startup through closeoutVerify turnover packages are complete, accurate, and compliantReview as-built documentation, testing records, commissioning reports, configuration settings, and quality deliverablesEnsure documentation accurately reflects field installation conditionsTraining & Organizational DevelopmentTrain Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Technicians, and Project Teams on quality requirements and expectationsDevelop quality training programs, standards, and reference materialsPromote company-wide adoption of consistent quality practicesBuild a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Controls, Commissioning, and Operations teamsCoordinate quality requirements throughout the improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience7+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC leadership, commissioning, project delivery, controls, automation, or mission-critical construction environmentsStrong understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), industrial controls, networking, or low-voltage systemsExperience implementing quality programs, inspection systems, audit processes, or commissioning standardsWorking knowledge of commissioning processes, point-to-point testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testingExperience conducting audits, inspections, readiness reviews, and corrective action managementStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to influence teams and enforce standards across multiple projects and departmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial construction projectsExperience leading company-wide QA/QC programsKnowledge of BACnet, Modbus, IP networking, building automation systems, controls architecture, and system integrationExperience managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality audits, and defect prevention programsCertified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), PMP, Six Sigma, or similar professional certificationsExperience developing quality dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting toolsFamiliarity with Procore, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, or related project management and reporting
