Description
- You will oversee and execute QA/QC activities for procurement, supplier compliance, and inspection of piping, equipment, and packaged systems to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry codes
- Prepare and provide project monitoring, cost control, and reporting for the QA/QC discipline
- Review vendor welding, testing, and NDE procedures
- Develop, review, and update quality assurance documentation such as Inspection Attribute Lists, Inspection Checklists, and
- Inspection/Welding Specifications for product lines in cooperation with Engineering and Project Management Departments
- Respond to and manage quality issues identified by vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel.
- Ensure root cause analyses methodology is followed and corrective actions are completed in a timely fashion
- Communicate lessons learned of QA/QC non-conformities to Engineering for implementation into the design and future best practices
- Interpret code issues for design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of piping, pressure vessels, and welding
- Lead the supplier inspection process and develop Project Inspection Plans and coordinate external inspection resources
- Provide technical support during Inspection visits of purchased equipment for compliance with project specifications and tools required for QA/QC Engineering and Supplier Inspections, within the Quality Management System
- Support Supplier audits and evaluation
- Perform Supplier Cleaning witness and inspection for O2 service and UHP applications.
