Job Summary
The MCC Cancer Research Informatics Share Resource is recruiting a QA Manager II for Research Data who is responsible for the management and oversight of cancer data abstraction and consolidation in the Caner Research Data Commons. This position is an essential component of the management team of CRI that oversees cancer data acquisition from numerous sources of information such as EHRs, pathology and molecular testing laboratories, radiation oncology facilities, health information exchanges, and others. This position recruits and supervises a team of professional staff who are responsible for a variety of data abstraction, consolidation, and auditing procedures. The QA Manager II also provides the medical knowledge and cancer data expertise to advise informatics personnel on the design and implementation of electronic reporting and processing tools. This individual will be consulted to determine the relevance of data content, data flow, data quality and its suitability for end users. This represents an exciting opportunity to play an important role in data commons development and the use of cancer data in research at the Markey Cancer Center.
This position will have an onsite work arrangement.
