    Job Overview:

    The Quality Inspector performs activities related to quality assurance including, but not limited to: Inspection of components and finished goods, completing associated documentation, and support of other quality-related activities

    Responsibilities:

    • Visual inspection, measurement, and functional testing of components and finished assemblies
    • Perform other inspection activities as needed for process validations
    • Document nonconformance's when defects are identified
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures
    • General document review, scanning, and filing of quality records
    • Assist in investigations as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of inspection experience in a medical device manufacturing environment or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and follow controlled quality documents, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of good documentation practices within a regulated manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation.
    • Experience using common gauges and precision measurement instruments, including calipers, micrometers, vision systems, pin gauges, and similar inspection equipment.
    • Working knowledge of sampling techniques and basic quality tools used for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and standard units of measure.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work safely in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment, including following gowning and PPE requirements and working around moving mechanical parts.
    • Ability to perform required physical activities, including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
