The QA Engineer is based in Los Angeles, reports to the VP of Engineering, and is a member of the Engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Connexity''s products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. They will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and help deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test suites.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications and services.
- Help build, maintain, and expand automated testing frameworks and regression suites.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is incorporated throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results and communicate quality risks, issues, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Support testing of APIs, backend services, and web applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in test processes, automation, and quality standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues when needed.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and customer expectations.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance.
