A manufacturing facility in Heber Springs is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join its team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing quality background and experience working with customers, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements for the Quality Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience in manufacturing quality and customer-facing roles
- Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plans)
- Experience with 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and 5-Why problem solving
- Understanding of ISO/IATF 16949 standards
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns
- Lead investigations and corrective actions
- Support PPAP submissions and process changes
- Monitor quality metrics and customer scorecards
- Analyze SPC data and drive process improvements
- Support product launches and new product development
- Maintain quality documentation and compliance records
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement activities
