QA Engineer

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility solutions, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. As a QA Engineer, you will be part of the Product Software QA Team supporting critical testing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $38/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop, maintain, and expand Playwright automation test cases to ensure robust testing coverage.
• Perform manual testing for feature releases, hotfixes, and pre-merge validations to guarantee high-quality software delivery.
• Conduct vehicle mission testing and provide detailed reporting and analysis on mission outcomes to support product reliability.
• Support triage activities by identifying, reproducing, and verifying defects across development, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product managers to validate features and ensure release readiness.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer with proven skills in testing large-scale, complex applications.
• Strong working experience with testing tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Additional skills in sourcing and automation testing are highly valued.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and Playwright automation is a plus.
