    Introduction

    Join our team as a QA Engineer where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Extensive work experience in Hadoop components like Hive, Pig, Scoop Hive
    • Strong hands-on experience in writing SQL queries and understanding PL/SQL code
    • Experience with Autosys and Shell Scripting
    • Working knowledge of Jira and Test Management tools like Octane
    • Strong Functional/Regression/End To End Integration Testing concepts (experience with STLC lifecycle)
    • Experience in creating Test Data for positive and negative testing scenarios
    • Automation experience – preferably Selenium cucumber / Playwright (UFT – good to have)
    • Onshore/offshore coordination experience
    • Working Knowledge with QA Deliverables tool set (SharePoint, Client Project/Excel, Test Management tool- Octane)
    • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

    Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

    • Excellent verbal and written skills, including advanced interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis
    • Ability to be self-directed to complete assigned activities

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Participate in test case reviews and make necessary updates
    • Build and use test data required to accomplish execution of test cases
    • Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results
    • Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration), and report errors and failures
    • Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging
    • Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression)
    • Design, develop, execute automation scripts when needed
    • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutions
    • Apply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with appropriate support and documentation
    • Ensure that all the standards and processes are being implemented within projects
