Overview: We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Robot Framework, Python, Salesforce testing, and SQL-based data validation. The role focuses on Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migration and modernization, with an emphasis on building and executing automated test solutions, validating migrated data, and ensuring application quality across complex enterprise implementations. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on, capable of developing automation within active sprint cycles, and comfortable balancing functional testing, automation engineering, data migration validation, and AI-assisted testing. The project targets an
85% automation and 15% manual testing ratio, with automation developed and maintained in parallel with feature implementation.

Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
- Test Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migrations, including application functionality, user workflows, and regression scenarios.
- Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and utilities to support scalable test execution.
- Implement automation within the sprint cycle rather than postponing automation until after manual testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce applications.
- Validate data migration outcomes using complex SQL queries, multi-table joins, data comparisons, and reconciliation techniques.
- Identify data integrity issues, investigate discrepancies, and verify data completeness and accuracy across source and target systems.
- Support testing of state-specific regulatory and compliance requirements for US and Canadian rollouts.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to generate test cases, accelerate automation script development, investigate defects, and standardize testing practices.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA team members to prioritize testing activities and resolve defects.
- Adapt testing priorities to meet tight project timelines, changing requirements, and limited team capacity.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, automation documentation, execution results, defect reports, and traceability as required.
Required Qualifications:- Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Python for test automation.
- Demonstrated experience testing the Salesforce platform, preferably involving Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migration or modernization.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, multi-table joins, data retrieval, comparison, and validation.
- Experience with data migration testing, data integrity validation, and source-to-target reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience developing and executing reusable automated test scripts and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Ability to implement and execute automated tests within active development sprints.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Selenium and other complementary test automation technologies.
- Hands-on use of AI-assisted development and testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, or Claude for test generation, automation scripting, and defect analysis.
- Experience testing Salesforce data migration and complex enterprise integrations.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance-related testing for US and Canadian implementations.
- Experience standardizing automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and increasing automation efficiency.
