Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build and maintain scalable UI, API, and end-to-end automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build UI, API, and End-to-End automation frameworks.
• Perform REST API testing and validate JSON/XML payloads and authentication.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Implement BDD testing using Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Debug test failures and collaborate with development and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to automation best practices.

Required Skills

• 8 10 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience in UI, API, and E2E testing.
• REST APIs, JSON/XML, and API authentication.
• Git and CI/CD experience.
• Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Cucumber/Gherkin and BDD.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Preferred Skills

• SQL/Database Testing.
• Docker/containerized test execution.
• AWS/Azure and microservices testing.
• Performance/security testing.
• SonarQube or code quality tools.
• Payments, Banking, or Fintech domain experience.
• QA automation leadership experience.
