Ready to be the ultimate guardian of quality? Join our team and make an impact every single day!

At Synergies Companies, we believe that excellence isn't just a goal, it’s our standard. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team in Detroit. If you have an eye for precision, love ensuring everything runs smoothly, and thrive in a dynamic production environment, we want to hear from you!

What’s in it for You?

  • Steady Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (with flexibility to meet exciting job demands).
  • Location: Conveniently located at 201 Waterman St., Detroit, MI 48209.
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt).
  • Pay: $18/hr
  • A Supportive Environment: Work closely with a team that values your growth, provides open feedback, and trusts your judgment.

Your Day-to-Day Impact

As our QA Auditor, you will be the frontline champion for safety, compliance, and excellence. You will work hand-in-hand with our Production and Quality Management teams to:

  • Be the Expert on the Floor: Read job specifications, review "First Articles," and compare all products against the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure everything matches perfectly.
  • Keep Quality High: Perform Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) conformance checks, as well as AQL inspections on the production lines.
  • Take the Lead: You have the authority to place production operations in "Block Status" when needed and recommend smart ways to fix issues.
  • Stay Sharp: Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, conduct electronic label vision challenges, and neatly document your findings in quality reports.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Guide production line leaders on observed issues, and instantly quarantine any non-conformance materials while keeping management in the loop.

Who You Are

We are looking for a reliable, adaptable team player who brings the following to the table:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of applicable GMP experience in a QA role (or equivalent experience in a related field—we value your skills!).
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (a proficiency test is part of our standard onboarding).
  • Core Strengths:
    • A sharp eye for quality and a knack for solving problems.
    • Excellent time-management skills to keep yourself organized and on track.
    • The ability to build trusting, respectful, and collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Physical Comfort: You are comfortable standing or walking for long periods on the floor and can lift at least 20 pounds when needed.
