Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a global professional services firm headquartered in New York, for an experienced QA Analyst to join their technology team on a fully remote basis. This is an opportunity to help a well-established, internationally recognized organization deliver reliable, high-quality software and digital tools that support consultants and clients around the world.

Day to day, you will dig into requirements, write and execute test plans, and partner closely with developers and product owners to catch issues before they ever reach production. Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and internal applications
  • Review business and technical requirements to identify testable scenarios and edge cases
  • Log, track, and prioritize defects using the team bug tracking system
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and reproduce issues
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across releases
  • Maintain and enhance automated test scripts and testing frameworks
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and testing progress to stakeholders
  • Validate bug fixes and verify releases prior to production deployment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and documentation

Requirements

  • 3plus years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar testing role
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management
  • Hands on experience with test case management and bug tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail
  • Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Experience testing within Agile or Scrum development environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a distributed, remote team
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience
