Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Primary:

  • Python: 10+ years of advanced Python development experience
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with complex data scenarios
  • Data Processing Libraries: Proficiency with Polars, PyArray, Parquet, wheels, Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark (PySpark), Dask, or similar frameworks
  • AI Tools: Experience using AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for code generation, debugging, and optimization

Secondary:

  • Apache Kafka: Experience with real-time data streaming and message processing
  • Oracle & SQL: Strong database skills with complex query optimization
  • Kubernetes: Container orchestration and deployment experience
  • Version Control: Git workflow and collaborative development practices

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based data processing workflows and pipelines
  • Build scalable data ingestion and transformation systems
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data processing performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews

Salary Range: $120,000 to $135,000 per year
