Software Developer / Technical Support MCM Integration for a
contract assignment with one of our premier
Financial Services clients in
Dallas, TX. Hybrid schedule 2-3x weekly onsite
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance 2 3 days per week. The successful candidate will support the Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM) technology environment, with a focus on software development, production support, and integrations between upstream and downstream systems.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain large-scale applications and complex integrations supporting the Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM) platform.
- Build and support back-end systems, Web Services, APIs, messaging solutions, and UI components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide ongoing technical and application support.
- Support application deployments and ensure stability across development and production environments.
- Develop solutions utilizing Java and/or Python and work with large datasets and database technologies.
- Develop and support front-end functionality using Angular, React, and JavaScript.
- Work with messaging, application monitoring, SRE monitoring, and synthetic monitoring solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate closely with IT leadership, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Required Skills: - 8+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations (experience with modern programming languages such as Java and/or Python; developing and consuming Web Services and APIs)
- 4+ years of experience with data technologies and databases, including one or more of the following: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets (experience writing, reading, and executing SQL scripts)
- 2+ years of Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React, and JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins
- 3+ years experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or GCP, and Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience with test automation (includes SRE monitoring and synthetic monitoring)
Preferred Skills: - Previous experience working in mortgage capital markets
- Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as CRON, Tidal, or Airflow
- Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace for performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
