    LATAM Python Go Backend Engineer (Remote)

    • Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 per year

    Job Description Summary

    Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

    • Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend systems utilizing modern languages, including Python, Go, Rust, and WebAssembly

    • Utilize various cloud services, such as Amplify, Lightsail, and Fargate, to construct a robust and secure infrastructure

    • Work with both relational databases, like PostgreSQL, and NoSQL solutions, such as MongoDB and vector databases

    • Work in close partnership with the foundational engineering team to deliver features that have a high impact

    • Be given the opportunity to influence the overall direction and product vision of the platform

    Qualifications and Experience (Requirements)

    • A minimum of 2+ years of full-time, post-graduate software engineering experience is required

    • Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages like Python and Go

    • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services (Amplify, Lightsail, Fargate), and the implementation of Access Control Lists (ACL)

    • Experience with various databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Vector Databases

    • Must be adaptive and able to move quickly, capable of rapid response and changing projects as needed (you will not be responsible for more than two codebases concurrently)

    • Must have the ability to work during standard Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
