Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer with PL/SQL for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data-driven applications, automation frameworks, and ETL pipelines to support critical banking and financial systems.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer with PL/SQL Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, financial microservices, and REST APIs using Python and modern frameworks.

  • Build and optimize ETL pipelines and data processing solutions using Python, Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and enterprise data integration tools.

  • Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and database objects to support critical business applications.

  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, data partitioning, and troubleshooting to ensure high-performance transaction processing.

  • Automate workflows and orchestration processes using tools such as Apache Airflow while supporting cloud and data platform initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data solutions while supporting production issues, enhancements, and continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience within banking, financial services, or enterprise data environments.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Oracle PL/SQL, Snowflake, Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and building scalable ETL/data processing solutions.

  • Proven experience developing financial applications, optimizing Oracle databases, building REST APIs, and working with cloud, messaging, and data platforms such as AWS, Kafka, Airflow, and CI/CD tools.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
