    Description

    Job Summary (List Format):

    - Develop and enhance core features of financial accounting and forecasting applications, focusing on model accuracy, performance, and scalability.
    - Refactor and modernize existing application components for improved maintainability.
    - Support quarterly and yearly production runs for financial reporting by monitoring execution and ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness.
    - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, reduce technical debt, and drive continuous improvements aligned with software engineering best practices.
    - Write clean, robust, production-grade Python code, supported by strong unit and integration test coverage.
    - Collaborate with FP&A and other stakeholders to implement new forecasting capabilities, support scenario analysis, and meet business/regulatory requirements.
    - Coordinate with team members across different technology layers (data, services, APIs, infrastructure) for end-to-end solution delivery.
    - Assist with infrastructure upgrades, platform migrations, and the adoption of new technologies to improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
    - Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and maintain thorough documentation.
    - Utilize Git for source control, SQL for relational database development, Pandas for data analysis, and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    - Apply shell scripting for automation and operational support.
    - Engage in Agile development practices and use tools such as JIRA for tracking and planning.
    - Leverage financial industry knowledge, particularly in fixed income and GAAP accounting (preferred).
    - Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
