Responsibilities of the Python Developer:
- Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and automation solutions.
- Create scripts and tools to streamline operational and business processes.
- Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams on software development projects.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and automation workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the engineering team.
Qualifications of the Python Developer:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional experience, including internship experience focused on software development or automation.
- Strong proficiency with Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Demonstrated personal projects involving Python development, scripting, automation, APIs, or related technologies.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and basic cloud concepts is preferred.
- Exposure to Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation for the Python Developer includes:
- Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
- Hybrid work schedule with 1 day per week onsite in Durham, NC
